What is there about White Man in particular that makes him (I’ll stick with that pronoun) believe he’s superior and entitled to plunder, steal and rape. The most stunning example might be North America. We’ll explore that history as we go along – and not find any firm answer to my question. Suffice it to say for now, this entitlement is surfacing in some ugly ways as the pandemic moves along. We’ll start with the example my Indigenous son, living in Winnipeg, told me about:
