The Sanctuary of Silence: in Sanctuary, Silence, Soul

The Sanctuary of Silence: in Sanctuary, Silence, Soul

Just so you know it’s not me making this up as I go along – it’s all of us who choose to participate in The Silence of Botany. It looked like the perfect mode for carrying out my purposes; but I quickly learned there’s a dearth of information on running a FB room and even less on possibilities. Like Emily Dickinson, I dwell in possibility. And so, I wouldn’t give up of TBOS. I hasten to tell you I did find this from a frustrated soul on FB’s help page on YouTube: Lol Facebook is so annoying. I can’t figure out how to run a room. I’ve done it before…

I’m not giving up, though! No – I believe in the botany of science and its benefits to expansive living too much for that.

Here follows, then, some help for you as you struggle your way in following me. First, let’s create a path through the wildflowers.

This a private meditation room and is for anyone who has learned and grown via concentration on the 3 title facets of life during the pandemic. These three s’es – Sanctuary, Silence and Soul – have come to represent for me the critical aspects of anyone’s life over time. This representation derives from a strong and long picture I have of life. Life is a journey. And it’s a journey that’s solitary, taking us from how we got here to where we’re going. Beginnings and endings vary and are very personal. Silence, Sanctuary and the Soul are the treasured tools of the trade. If you come to this room, these will be your tool

DWELL IN POSSIBILITY

I dwell in Possibility – (466)

By Emily Dickinson

I dwell in Possibility –
A fairer House than Prose –

More numerous of Windows –

Superior – for Doors –

Of Chambers as the Cedars –

Impregnable of eye –
And for an everlasting Roof

The Gambrels of the Sky –

Of Visitors – the fairest –
For Occupation – This –
The spreading wide my narrow Hands

To gather Paradise –
