quintessentially glenn

8/2/12: This section is about Glenn Peirson and is mostly for Theodora and Henry… who are looking forward to contributions from YOU!!

You’ve heard how it takes a village to raise a child, haven’t you? Well, one of the major fears that children have when they’ve lost a parent is that they’ll forget and their memories will be gone. This is an invitation to everyone who knew Glenn – please record your best Glenn-ish memories here, and I’ll eventually put them in a book for Theo and Henry.

…from the sublime to the Glennfully ridiculous, from childhood to adulthood…

This is the 10 year mark. If know your family, there will be a special occasion to remember your dad.
We think of Glenn and his love of Christmas. As I set out our books that are signed with your dad’s classic font handwriting “from Theo and Henry -to Owen and Simon”. We remember our special First weekend in December sleepovers here in Stratford. I think we may even have matching advent puzzle calendars from 10 thousand villages too. Paul especially members their highly competitive cribbage matches.
Keep well, as your dad said,

      Hello Kim,

How lovely of you to remember. I’ve been off the websites for a little while because both Doug and I have been under the weather; but I’ll bring Henry and Theo up-to-date tomorrow. We had a beautiful celebration of Glenn on November 10 – just family with memories of Glenn, foods he liked, fun and fondness.

I hope you’re all well. Say hi to everyone. And thanks so much again.

      Love,
      Ellyn
